Being part of the crew requires no special credentials. If you care for the ocean and live your life with style and authenticity, you might already be part of our crew.

PESCE will continue this journey alongside our crew, moving forward in a way that is distinctly our own.

Crew

Crew members are the core community shaping this campaign together. By participating regularly in beach clean-ups, they help build the atmosphere and culture of our movement. Beyond simply participating, Crew members share PESCE’s vision and keep this effort moving forward.

Host Crew members are key leaders who help guide the campaign (participating 6+ times a year). On-site, they assist participant guidance, support campaign execution, and set the tone and flow of the event. Having journeyed with us over time, Host Crew members are the central pillar who deeply understand the direction and culture of our campaign.

Crew Mindset

Beach clean-ups do not always happen in comfortable environments. At times, we visit unfamiliar shores, trek across rough terrain, or head to locations that require extra travel and personal expense. Understanding the nature of these activities, our Crew embraces the following attitude:

• Leading by example — taking action first 

• Willingness to challenge oneself and learn new things 

• Holding a personal perspective and awareness on marine waste issues

How to Join

The Crew is formed naturally through campaign participation. Anyone who participates 3 or more times in a single year's campaigns can express their interest in joining the Crew. Following a period of activity and communication, formal Crew status will be granted based on the team's review.
